Sketchbooks offers a glimpse into an artist’s life,
which is why we want to make a publicly accessible library of
sketchbooks that people can browse, peruse, and check out. We think
that this sketchbook collection has the potential to open a new line
of communication between the artist and the viewer, since the
experience of making and viewing are both so personal. Anyone can sign
up to receive a sketchbook. Before joining our permanent collection,
sketchbooks will be exhibited at select galleries across the US. Each
sketchbook will be barcoded and cataloged, allowing visitors to choose
what they want to look at via theme, medium, geographic location, name
of the artist, etc.

Sketchbooks will be show in LA, Brooklyn (303GRAND!), Chicago, Atlanta, and
St. Louis.

Exhibition Hours:

Friday, 7-11 p.m. (Q&A from 7-8). Saturday, 8-11 p.m. & Sunday, 12-3 p.m.

The transformation has begun. Thanks to the Martha Stewart Wedding team, 303GRAND is blossoming into a beautiful wedding chapel.

All decorations are handmade with paper, including the bride’s bouquet.

It’s wedding season and it only fits that 303GRAND puts on a wedding extravaganza Brooklyn-style! 303GRAND has partnered with The Wedding Library, Brooklyn Bride, and Martha Stewart Weddings to assist brides in their quest for the ultimate wedding experience.

Week 1 starts off with a shop dedicated to bridal gifts and ceremonial “extras.” Brides will have the chance to meet with The Wedding Library consultants and shop among vendors from across the country.

Week 2 is dedicated to one of the most important parts of weddings- photography! We know, we know…snagging the groom and The Dress is at the top of the list, but photography falls right in behind those priorities.

Week 3- Looking for the most unique, one of a kind dress and wedding attire? We thought so. Week 3 rounds out the series with a wedding attire shop housing handmade gowns, dresses, and more.

Week 4- Here Comes the Bride! With the help of Martha Stewart Weddings, 303GRAND will be transformed into a wedding chapel. We’ll be hosting ceremonies all week long. One lucky bride will win an all expense paid 303WEDDING by Martha Stewart and an 8 day honeymoon getaway, compliments of Sandals Resort. 303GRAND announces its next endeavor: a 4-day pop-up shop dedicated to all things mom. The store, aptly titled “Thanks, Mom,” opens on May 6th and will run through May 9th. The gift shop will be filled with mom-centric gifts including soaps, handmade cards, fake “MOM” tattoos, bags, gardening accessories and more. It’s the perfect place to find a gift that truly says: thanks, mom. The shop will also have a wall of photos dedicated to mothers. Send a photo of you and your mom via email to thanksmom [at] gmail [dot] com or drop it by the store and it will be added to the wall. Pictures of the finished wall collage will be posted on www.303grandnyc.com.

All merchandise is hand-made by designers, artists, and crafters from across the country. Sorry, no macaroni necklaces here, but shoppers will be able to find limited edition and one-of-a kind gifts that can be found only in this store. Last Wednesday night we kicked off the first event from our new trends and thought leadership series, The Brooklyn Show + Tell, at our NYC retail storefront, 303Grand. The topic was Green Entrepreneurship and a special thanks to Carol Cho for being our featured speaker. Carol was the former events director for Surface and GOOD Magazines, and currently the co-founder of Carol Cho productions, a green events production firm in NYC.

The Show and Tell brings together thought leaders from a diverse group of industries to mix, mingle, talk about trends and share ideas and insights. Each event will have a featured theme that a conversation will be based around and we encourage attendees to bring one idea, product, website, image, gadget or video to share that relates to the theme.

In the future we hope to tape some of the great conversations and exciting items that are shared. Stay tuned for our next event in this series scheduled for later this month. In the meantime, check out our Mother’s Day pop-up shop currently happening at 303Grand:

The two-week opening series of our new Revolving Storefront in Brooklyn, 303GRAND, was a smashing success.
