Travel Retail Pop-up During Golden Week
Street Attack helped duty-free retailer DFS curate and build a compelling pop-up in their Waikiki Mall location. We created a partnership with local graffiti heroes Pow! Wow! and converted an ice cream truck full of clothing and trinkets that combined local flavor with luxury retail and travel.
Results
The Pop-up ran for one week and garnered widespread coverage in all major news publications in Hawaii. The experimental footprint created an estimated $2M value of annual revenue based on the income during the test run. Generated millions of social media impressions especially within a demographic previously unassociated with the DFS brand – and resulted in further creative work for the Waikiki store and visual merchandising team.
