UNWANTED

UNWANTED Film Festival

Plan of Attack:

In collaboration with the No Fixed Address Agency, Street Attack created the Unwanted Film Festival—a harrowing activation designed to shed light on the escalating issue of child sexual abuse material online. The festival took place during the prestigious Tribeca Film Festival season, raising awareness in one of the most high-profile stages imaginable.

Our Solution:

Using an AI-generated algorithm, we created a new film poster every two seconds to represent the unimaginable frequency at which new abusive content is uploaded. These posters, inspired by survivor stories, were projected in a 360-degree room, creating a fully immersive and emotionally charged environment for attendees.

Visitors received movie tickets embedded with QR codes, directing them to a petition aimed at taking down these harmful materials. By merging the power of art and technology, this festival turned heads and hearts, highlighting the urgent need for change.
